Why are we here?
Our goal is to struggle for the liberation of all oppressed people and nations, across the world and here on Turtle Island.
Our objective is to be furthering our dedication and commitment to people's liberation movements around the world, and the bringing about of revolution. Without revolution, without struggle, the issues facing the world today will be insurmountable. We must have militant, organized efforts to crush the Imperialist world system, once and for all.
The intention behind In Defense of Liberation is to learn from, connect with, interview, and develop struggles alongside people themselves. Through open discussions, dialogue, studying theory, history, economics, philosophy and science, and doing real organizing on the ground, we can come to a better understanding not only of the world around us, but the world which we want to create. And have a better chance for bringing that world into existence.
If it is not for one another, we will stand alone. We hope to connect with, build relations, open lines of communication, organize, learn from, and develop a movement with anyone committed to revolution, and to full liberation of all oppressed peoples.
In the future, our hope is to see strong, militant, revolutionary parties, mass organizations, and people, who are unwilling to give up or surrender for anything less than full liberation- power in the hands of the people, and socialist revolution.
